What is unique about the L.A. Jewish Symphony? How are we special?

We think of TRADITION – an anchor through times of uncertainty and imbalance. The tradition of Jewish music - representing a diversity of composers, countries, eras and styles - ancient, folk, classical and modern – this is the reservoir of our history and cultural identity. This is what the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony uniquely provides.

The range of the music we play is reflective of the total Jewish experience – new, seldom heard, or familiar, we are enriched by the sounds – by the on-going tradition of Jewish music. The Los Angeles Jewish Symphony is special - the only symphony orchestra, outside of Israel, devoted to this mission.
