| Ariella
Vaccarino, coloratura, has been pursuing and living her dream of singing
in both the operatic and cantorial worlds. After doing her Bachelors
of Music work in Vocal Arts at the University of Southern California, Ms.
Vaccarino went on quickly to star as Miranda in L.A. Opera’s debut of Journey
to Cordoba. She then sung with Opera Pacific as Maricella in the
debut of Camino de Fey. Ms. Vaccarino’s strong acting background
was powerfully evident when she played the possessed Leah in the opera
The Dybbuk at the University of Judaism’s Gindi Auditorium. Other
credits this year include work with Euterpe Opera and Goldenwest Opera
Company. Ms. Vaccarino’s concert works includes salon performances
for the Israeli Deputy Major of Jerusalem and the Polish Consulate General.
A veteran of the Brandeis-Bardin Young Artist Program, Ms. Vaccarino expresses
her love for Jewish music as being a guest cantorial soloist for synagogues
throughout Southern California. She has sung in concert for the Los Angeles
Jewish Music Foundation, and the the Jewish Composers Society.
Beyond the stage Ariella enjoys lending her voice to the Hollywood music
scene. She has used her high notes to howl on many a horror film.
Presently she is preparing herself for competitions and auditions into
the opera world. |
