Ms. Fleschler is a mezzo-soprano with a wide vocal range.
She has been a featured soloist since the age of twelve. She
was chosen to be a soloist in Junior High and High School as well as in
her Temple. She is a member with the Temple Ramat Zion Adult choir
for over 29 years.
She attended UCLA where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music
and her Teaching Credential. While at UCLA, Ms. Fleschler played
alto saxophone and was a member of both the Marching and Varsity Bands.
Ms. Fleschler was a featured soloist and member of the Novakowsky
Chorale, the University of Judaism Concert Singers, the American Jewish
Choral Society and the High Holyday Choir at Shomrei Torah Synagogue. She
is also a member and soloist for the Valley Beth Shalom Choir.
Ms. Fleschler has also lent her vocal talents to a variety of community
events including back-up for Barbra Streisand for the Democratic National
Convention at the Shrine Auditorium and for her Farewell Performances at
the Staple Center, the Valley Jewish Festival, The Liberation Celebration,
Southern California Regional Cantors Assembly, Vanished Voices, Celebrating
Israel's 50th Birthday on CBS TV, Sam Fordis' Farewell at the Wilshire
Ebell Theater, the annual Community Yom Kippur Service at Eden Mortuary
and at the Canadian Consulate for the L.A. Jewish Symphony. She has
also been a featured soloist accompanied by the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony
under the direction of Dr. Noreen Green. She has recorded numerous CD's
for the events and organizations mentioned. She is very proud to
have been featured with some of the world's most renowned Cantors.
Ms. Fleschler serves as the Branch Musical Director and Accompanist
for the Pacific Southwest Branch of Women's League for Conservative Judaism
and for the annual productions at Temple Ramat Zion. She has been
on the Temple Ramat Zion Sisterhood Board for over 10 years and is now
currently serving on the Executive Board as Education V.P.
Ms. Fleschler and her mom are the owners of Valley Skate & Surf,
in North Hills, since 1982.
ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCES: Member of the TOVA Concert Singers,
Performed for the Citywide Yom Hashoah program at Sinai Temple for Gov.
Grey Davis and numerous other City Officials.
