What could be more Jewish, and more fun, than a musical comedy about immigrant
life, the rise from rags to riches, and entertainment in the Catskills?
This concert performance about Jennie Grossinger, the extraordinary Jewish
woman who turned her family’s failing farm into the most famous resort
of its time, marks another first for the LA Jewish Symphony. Starring Susan
Edwards Martin and featuring Seinfeld’s Estelle Harris, Grossinger’s...The
Last Resort will leave you singing in your seats. Budd Friedman, impressario
of the World Famous Improv, opens the evening as host to legendary
comedians who performed at Grossinger’s, reminiscing about their Borscht
Belt shtick!
