Remembrances: Reflections on the Holocaust
Sunday, April 29, 2001 at 7:30 p.m.
Valley Beth Shalom Synagogue
15739 Ventura Boulevard, Encino

Out of the darkness soars our unvanquished eternal hope. Join the LAJS’ unique tribute to the Shoah with the World Premiere performance of Wladyslaw Szpilman’s inspired "Piano Concertino" written as the gates closed on the Warsaw Ghetto. Recall the promise of our own generation "to remember" in the melody of 20 year old Robert Elfman’s featured composition, "We Will Tell Them."
